On Saturday, 8th October, visual artist Marko Blazo would have turned 50. The planned family exhibition featuring his works along with that of his parents will open in Košice, eastern Slovakia, on Thursday, 13th October. The works of his mother Katarina and father Frantisek were displayed along with pictures by their late son for the very first time no sooner than in December 2020. Members of the family influenced each other in many aspects of their artwork as can be spotted in their collage-like vision, the use of digital technologies or stylized figures and scenes. Both of artist‘s parents will be present at the opening of their joint family exhibition in the Kasarne Kulturhaus venue. Marko Blazo died in March 2021 aged 48.
