Slovak Philharmonic Choir received on Monday, February 27, a prestigious award in Germany, OPER! AWARD 2023 in the category best opera choir. The top representative of Slovak culture was recognized for its performance in Tschaikovski’s The Queen of Spades at the Easter Festival in Baden Baden in 2022. Slovak Philharmonic Choir was accompanying international soloists and the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of its chief conductor, maestro Kirill Petrenko.
