In 2022, you will explore Slovakia with us! Within the “From the Tatras to the Danube” competition cycle, we will take you to ten different Slovak regions and tell you all about what makes them unique. Well, and as the name of the competition suggests, this year's wanderings through Slovakia will begin in the High Tatras. The rocky dominant of Slovakia is located in the popular tourist region of Spiš, full of historical monuments. Spiš was originally inhabited by many ethnic groups which have contributed to the culture, folklore, culinary specialities and language of its inhabitants. Our colleague Elena Seeber prepared the first round of the competition cycle, so let's join her in Spiš!
