Mass testing for coronavirus in the district of Nitra over the weekend

The epidemiological situation in Nitra is the worst in Slovakia and is comparable to the autumn course of the pandemic in the Orava area in northern Slovakia, Nitra mayor Marek Hattas said following a meeting of the district crisis management team on Monday. Hattas confirmed that there will be mass- testing using antigen tests in the district of Nitra over the weekend. The district crisis management team in Nitra has already recommended that a measure be taken to oblige larger companies to carry out regular testing of their employees and to apply home office in as many cases as possible. "The activity of kindergartens in the territory of Nitra will also be limited. They will only serve parents working in the critical infrastructure," said Hattas.
