On the weekend the Slovak Education Ministry launched the registration for the inoculation of additional teachers against COVID-19, extending the priority status not only to nursery school and 1st-level elementary school teachers but also to all 2nd-level elementary and secondary teachers and teachers under 55. The teachers can make their appointments via the old.korona.gov.sk website.
Education minister Branislav Gröhling claimed that although there are no available slots for inoculation of teachers above 56 yet, the ministry intends to have all teachers vaccinated at the earliest opportunity.
