New exceptions to curfew as of Monday

As of Monday, new exceptions to the curfew are in force. All activities remain limited to the time between 5am and 8pm. Nevertheless people can go to shops, churches, museums, galleries, libraries, the ZOO, botanical gardens, driving schools, swimming pools and sport facilities. Moreover, trips to the countryside are allowed even outside the home district. However, most of the exceptions are conditioned by having a negative antigen result.

School staff need a maximum of seven days negative test. For other jobs, the validity of the test depends on the classification of the district according to the COVID machine. For warning degrees 5, 4 or 3, a maximum of seven days applies, a 14-day test is required for warning degree 2 and a 21-day test is necessary in the districts belonging to warning degree 1.

Without a test, people are allowed to purchase essential necessities of life such as groceries, drugs or fuels.

The curfew is in force until further notice, at the latest until the end of the state of emergency, ie after the expiration of 28 April 2021. It does not apply between 1.00 and 5.00.
