Libraries, museums and galleries to reopen in OP mode, trains and long-distance buses to operate in OTP mode

Libraries, museums and galleries will be allowed to open in OP mode (vaccinated and those who have recovered from COVID-19), Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky announced following the Cabinet session on Tuesday in connection with the Government's directive easing some anti-pandemic measures.

As of Friday, December 17, also to be reopened in OP mode are body care services such as massage parlours, beauty and tanning salons, for instance. Also to be allowed are family holiday visits, although the minister urged the public to act responsibly and exercise great care in the face of the ongoing pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Government decided on Tuesday to restrict the movement on long-distance buses and trains for those who are unvaccinated, untested, and haven't overcome the disease. Therefore as of 17 December, trains and long-distance buses will operate in OTP mode (vaccinated/tested/ those who overcame COVID-19).
