The Public Health Office has scrapped the directive on the mandatory OTP (vaccinated, tested, recovered) mode in workplaces, effective as of Saturday, February 5. Hence, employers are no longer obliged to test unvaccinated employees who have not recovered from COVID-19 for the disease. The Public Health Office asked both employers and employees to continue to observe epidemiological measures. Mandatory testing at firms was introduced in November 2021, with the Economy Ministry set to cover the costs on behalf of businesses.
