Coronavirus to cut Slovak GDP by 7.2 percent Y-o-Y in 2020

In its latest macro-economic prognosis published on Wednesday, the Finance Ministry stated that Slovakia's GDP is expected to fall by 7.2 percent year-on-year in 2020, mainly due to the coronavirus outbreak. The ministry estimates that the country's economy could begin to revive in the second half of this year and bounce back by 6.8 percent y-o-y in 2021.
