Footwear producer Gabor, based in Banovce nad Bebravou, has resumed production as of Monday (April 20), TASR press agency reports, quoting the company's PR representative Adriana Bednarová. The company suspended production on March 25 in response to the coronavirus epidemic. "Production has been resumed under strict safety measures, such as the compulsory wearing of face masks, disinfecting of hands and equipment, constantly checking for fever, etc. The company is eligible for state aid, and management is currently assessing the extent of its use," said Bednarová. The footwear producer currently employs 1,363 people.
