At the weekend, carmaker PSA Peugeot Citroën Slovakia's plant in Trnava, western Slovakia, launched full production as the first car factory in the country, following a halt of its lines due to coronavirus in March and their gradual relaunch in May. According to PSA Slovakia's spokesman Peter Švec, the plant has enough orders until the end of July. The car making industry is one of the pillars of the Slovak economy, with the country being the largest car producer per capita in the world.
