Slovakia is sending humanitarian aid worth more than €212.000 to Mosul in Iraq, where almost 2 million people are suffering from a lack of health care and other necessities. This was announced by the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry the other day. Health equipment for anaesthesiologists, servo ventilators manufactured by a Slovak producer, sleeping bags, towels, blankets and beds from the Interior Ministry's stores will be delivered in the most affected areas. The local hospitals in Mosul can also profit from the toys, footwear and clothes provided by several private Slovak companies.
