Skiers to fly to Tatra Mountains and Liptov area again

Skiers will be able to fly to the High Tatra Mountains and the Liptov area again this winter, with Poprad Airport to connect Slovakia with Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Latvia, according to the manager of the Regional Tourism Organisation, Liptov Area Katarina Sarafinova. Hungarian airline WizzAir will fly between London and Poprad three times a week during the winter. Latvia's national airline airBaltic will connect the Tatra Mountains with the Baltic states from December 15 to early March next year with one flight per week from Riga. SkyUp Airlines will fly from Kiev in Ukraine once a week between December 29 and March next year. Nearly 10,000 skiers flew to Liptov and the High Tatra mountains in the last winter season.
