Slovaks lost 2 seconds before the end

On Monday, the Slovak ice hockey team lost in their match against Canada 5:6. After the early lead of 2:0 and later 4:2, the Canadian team succeeded in scoring 5:4. In the final third, Slovak forward Matúš Sukeľ secured a 5:5 draw. The 5:6 win was cemented 2 seconds before the end of the match by Canadian Mark Stone, making Slovakia drop to the 6th position in the "A" group. They will play their next match against Germany on Wednesday.
