Far right party allegedly included in leaked chats

The Far right People's Party our Slovakia was allegedly ready to support a minority government, had Most-Híd left it after the murder of investigative journalist Ján Kuciak in spring 2018, indicate the leaked chat of controversial businessman Marián Kočner, charged with ordering the murder. According to the Denník N daily, Kočner wrote in the chats that the party's chair Marián Kotleba would have supported the government, as he owed it to Kočner. Moreover, Kočner allegedly wrote in the chats that he managed to ensure at the Supreme Court that the far right party would not be dissolved.

In April 2019, the court decided that the party would not be dissolved. Martin Beluský, vice-chair of the People's Party our Slovakia denied any contact between Kočner and anyone in the party. Nora Halmová, a judge on the Supreme Court who admitted she knows Kočner, denied that she discussed any work related issues with him.
