An overseeing prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office (USP) expects that charges against Marian Kočner in the case of murdered journalist Ján Kuciak will be pressed in court by the end of October. The controversial businessman was initially charged with ordering Kuciak's murder in early March - almost a year after the journalist and his fiancée Martina Kušnirová were shot dead in their home. He allegedly ordered the hit due to Kuciak's work dealing with Kočner's shady business deals. The alleged shooter and his helpers are in jail awaiting trial.
