European bishops’ conference legal advisors meet in Bratislava

Pope Francis' reform in connection with the marital process, reservation of conscience, and hate speech laws. These are the main topics of the two-day international meeting of legal advisors of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe, which started in Bratislava on Tuesday. The event, which is held every two years, is organized by the Council of European Bishops' Conferences (CCEE), and is being hosted by the Conference of Bishops of Slovakia (KBS). Representatives of bishops' conferences from more than 20 European countries have come to Slovakia for the meeting, including the Council's president, Italian Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco. This is the fourth time such a meeting has been held, and the second time in the Slovak capital. The first meeting took place in 2013 in Strasbourg, the second in 2015 in Bratislava, and the third in Luxembourg in 2017.
