On Sunday, Prime Minister Igor Matovič said that cross-border commuters will not have to undergo mandatory tests yet. Thus, the PM corrected the statement of the Slovak Chief Hygienist Ján Mikas that cross-border commuters will have to show a proof of a negative test for COVID-19 disease, which must not be older than 30 days at each entry to Slovakia. "If the sickness rate proves to be the same as in neighbouring countries, this measure loses its meaning," stated Matovič.
