Remote education at high schools

As of Monday, Slovak high school students started remote education following the strict measures preventing the further spread of COVID-19. Nevertheless, kindergartens and primary schools with their after-school clubs continue to work in a regular regime. Education Minister Branislav Grohling explained that this should make it possible for nurses, hospital workers and other employees in first line positions as well as other parents who cannot go on home office to be able continue working and take care of their families. As he added, if parents are afraid, it is not compulsory to send their children to kindergarten or primary school.
