Shipwreck to be removed from the Danube River

A shipwreck is to be raised from a riverbed of the Danube River and hauled out by the Firefighting and Emergency Corps in collaboration with the Slovak Environmental Inspection and Slovak Water Management Company as of Thursday (November 26). On Friday (November 20), inspectors were tasked with examining oil leaks from the sunk boat. There were reports of offensive smell and oil spills forming on the water surface, with the Environment Ministry detailing that the oil spills have been gradually removed so as to eliminate environmental pollution.
