The American telecommunications company AT&T is planning to reduce the number of its employees in Slovakia, partly due to the pandemic, which has reduced demand for the company's services, TASR press agency reported on Monday. The company itself hasn't announced the exact number of employees that should be let go, but the head of the trade union representing Slovak AT&T workers has stated that the mass redundancies should concern approximately 300 people. The company employs around 2,800 people in Slovakia.
