As of next week, no district will be coloured black in the so-called COVID-automaton, which entails automatic measures against the spread of coronavirus, according to an official input for the automaton approved by the national Government on Wednesday.
A total of 27 districts will be in dark red, 41 districts in medium red and four in light red. Slovakia as a whole will shift from black to dark red.
The dark-red districts as of next Monday will be: Banovce nad Bebravou, Bytca, Cadca, Dolny Kubin, Gelnica, Humenne, Ilava, Krupina, Kysucke Nove Mesto, Levoca, Lucenec, Martin, Myjava, Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Poltar, Poprad, Povazska Bystrica, Puchov, Revuca, Ruzomberok, Senica, Snina, Stara Lubovna, Trencin, Turcianske Teplice, Tvrdosin and Zilina.
The medium-red districts will include the following: Banska Bystrica, Banska Stiavnica, Bardejov, Bratislava I-V, Brezno, Detva, Dunajska Streda, Galanta, Hlohovec, Kezmarok, Komarno, Kosice I-IV, Kosice-okolie, Levice, Liptovsky Mikulas, Malacky, Medzilaborce, Michalovce, Namestovo, Partizanske, Pezinok, Piestany, Presov, Prievidza, Rimavska Sobota, Roznava, Sabinov, Sala, Senec, Skalica, Sobrance, Spisska Nova Ves, Stropkov, Svidnik, Trebisov, Trnava, Velky Krtis, Vranov nad Toplou, Zarnovica, Ziar nad Hronom and Zvolen.
The light-red districts include some of the formerly hardest-hit areas: Nitra, Nove Zamky, Topolcany and Zlate Moravce.
