Emergency situation declared in six villages

Emergency situations have been declared in six Slovak villages over the past few weeks in connection with the lack of drinkable water, the Interior Ministry informed. Concerning the Presov region, eastern Slovakia, the emergency situation was declared in the village of Pavlany (Levoca district) on June 10, while in the Banska Bystrica region, central Slovakia, these were the villages of Drna and Chramec (both Rimavska Sobota district) with the emergency situation being announced on June 27, said the ministry. “The emergency situations were also announced in three villages of the Kosice region - in Paca (Roznava district) on June 28, in Zehra on June 29 and in Bystrany (both Spisska Nova Ves district) on July 3," added the ministry.
