The Slovak Agriculture Ministry in cooperation with representatives of unions, associations, and other entities operating in the agriculture and food industry, is looking for solutions to the problem of drought. On Tuesday, these parties met at a working meeting called 'Dialogue on Water and Soil I'. The goal of the discussion is to offer a comprehensive solution to protect the country from drought and soil degradation, looking for ways in which each part can contribute to keeping water in the country, to the restoration of the country's water resources or how the production activity in the fields and in the country should be harmonised with care for non-productive areas in the country. According to the Ministry, the meeting was the first in a series of meetings aiming to develop discussion and cooperation in the field of improving soil care and landscape structure in times of a changing climate.
