Slovak Prosecutor-General Maroš Žilinka will not lodge a motion to disband the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia. "The General-Prosecutor has not learnt of any facts that would warrant the filing of a proposal to disband the political party People's Party Our Slovakia under paragraph 384 of the Administration Legal Code at the moment," stated Prosecutor-General's Office spokesperson Dalibor Skladan. The Supreme Court already heard a motion to disband the party back in 2019. That motion, drafted by then-prosecutor general Jaromír Čižnár, was turned down. It was governing parties SaS, For the People as well as non-parliamentary Progressive Slovakia that brought the issue up again this year.
