Speaking on TV Joj's political discussion programme on Thursday
evening, President Zuzana Caputova said that she is satisfied with what
Ludovit Odor's government has done so far, but she is aware that it has
only been in office for a short time. So far, Caputova is satisfied not
only with the government's expertise, but also with the fact that it is
not allowing itself to be dragged into political games. She pointed out
that even before its appointment, the caretaker government was the
target of attacks, and attempts to question it continue. She noted that
the government has full powers for the first 30 days. Zuzana Caputova
declined to comment on her potential repeated candidacy for the post of
head of state at this time. She would only say that she still has not
made a final decision on the issue concerning the domestic political
situation in the country, reiterating that she wants to make a
responsible decision.
