At the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Slovak Republic once again expressed its support for peace initiatives. Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár spoke at the meeting of the Group of Friends of Mediation, led by Turkey and Finland. Blanár emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomatic negotiations in resolving conflicts. The ministers also discussed cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries. Blanár confirmed Slovakia's interest in closer collaboration with this region, praising the EU's efforts as the largest investor there. He also announced planned working trips with representatives of Slovak companies.
