Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) emphasized that peaceful coexistence between Slovaks and Hungarians is essential for Slovakia's stability. After meeting with Hungarian Alliance leaders László Gubík and Pétro Őry, Fico highlighted shared concerns, including foreign policy, the fight against illegal migration, and peace in Ukraine. He reiterated his commitment to preserving minority rights and discussed proposals on local government funding. Fico also noted that Slovak-Hungarian coexistence is no longer a political issue and praised his constructive dialogue with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
