A total of nine volunteers from the Nitra region received the Srdce na dlani award. The Nitra Volunteering Centre received 50 nominations for the 14th year of the awards, which carry the stories of 65 volunteers. Nominations were sent by civic associations, municipalities, companies, as well as groups of individuals operating throughout the region.
Srdce na dlani is a Nitra Volunteering Centre award that develops and enhances the status of volunteering. It is an award for volunteers (individuals and teams) for volunteer activities carried out without financial remuneration for the benefit of others, in various areas of social life, community development, environmental protection, culture, education and training.
