Lawmakers haven't yet discussed the opposition-sponsored no-confidence motion in Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Hlas-SD), as Parliament was inquorate on Monday morning, with only 62 legislators present.
An emergency special session of Parliament was initiated by the opposition, which wants Minister Sutaj Estok to go due to the current situation in the Police Corps, the failure to address police brutality and bomb threats in schools. The opposition also wants Sutaj Estok to assume responsibility for the bullying of investigators who were working on high-profile corruption cases and for the dissemination of hoaxes.
