Transport Ministry has announced a tender for the establishment of a regular air route from Bratislava to Košice, which should fly from March next year 4 days a week. On Wednesday, Transport Minister Jozef Ráž (Smer-SD) informed after the government meeting.
“One-way ticket without luggage – we have set its price at EUR 80, with luggage at EUR 90. A two-way ticket without luggage should cost 130 euros, with luggage 145 euros,” the Minister explained. He pointed out that the price of the ticket is one of the criteria of the tender, so it can still move, but only downwards.
According to Ráž, the funds to compensate for the flights will only be paid in 2026.
