University of Prešov to communicate with International Space Station crew

A unique event is being organized by the University of Prešov next month. In real-time, technical specialists—radio amateurs—together with children from the Prešov and Košice regions, will communicate directly with the crew of the ISS in space. This will be made possible through a sophisticated system and an antenna installed on the University of Prešov building, which will capture the signal when the crew passes at its closest point to our territory. The opportunity arises from a call by the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station organization. The connection with the space crew will be part of a broader series of lectures on the topic of space exploration.
