In the coming months - or in the worst-case, years - a group of Australian archaeologists is planning to conduct research alongside their Slovak colleagues at a site not so far away from the Slovak capital, Bratislava. They want to dig as deep as necessary to uncover the missing puzzle pieces in the story of homo sapiens pushing out the neanderthals in Central Europe.
