Ivona Bezáková moved to the US from Slovakia 17 years ago. Now she is Associate Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology, New York State. With her Slovak husband they have two children, both born in the US. Mojmír Procházka had the chance to interview Ivona and her daughter and learnt more about their motivations, the differences they feel between the countries, the school system and their perspective of Slovakia.
