The Slovak Church under communism – Extended Interview

Filip Vagač and Jozef Luptak were young Christians at the time of the 1989 Velvet Revolution and had experienced the life of the Church under communist rule in Czechoslovakia. Here you can listen to their extended interview, where they discuss their own experience and that of their friends and families - many of whom suffered religious persecution under the regime - and the legacy of those years which, to some extent, still lingers on today.

The conversation begins with Filip explaining how it all began, in the years following the 1948 communist takeover.
