Soon it will be two weeks since the Russian invasion of Ukraine started. Since then, more than 2 million people have fled the country. Thousands of refugees are crossing the borders to Slovakia on a daily basis. In the following feature, we speak to people who help them navigate their next steps.
One of them is Renata Papcunova, who traveled back from England to her hometown of Kosice to "help, where help is needed". She says, that the majority of work on the Slovak-Ukrainian has been done by volunteers, who are now getting tired and asking the government to step up.
We also visit the information hot spot on the Bratislava Main train station, where volunteers help people fleeing the war with steps for settling in Slovakia or with their transit to other countries.
