According to a 2020 report from the United Nations, at the current rate of change, the global gender gap will not close for another 100 years. Gender gap has various forms, from the lack of women in the leadership positions to the uneven coverage of female sports. Gap in articles about women can be also found on Wikipedia. On Saturday 7 May 2022, the so-called WikiGap of female experts and role models from Slovakia will be addressed. The event will be held in hybrid format where participants will gather at the University Library in Bratislava but also online to add more content to Wikipedia about important women, female experts and role models in various fields. Zuzana Botiková spoke about it with Annika Markovic, Sweden's Ambassador to Austria and Slovakia, one of institutions behind the initiative.
