In May, we celebrated World Press Freedom Day, which began to fully develop in Slovakia after the year 1989. The level of media freedom in Slovakia is better than last year. This was shown by the new press freedom index of Reporters without borders. We have moved from 35th place to 27th place. University teacher and media ethics expert Anna Sámelová explains the development of media in Slovakia and describe the current challenges of journalism.
