The World Federation of Travel Journalists and Writers - known as FIJET - wrapped up their most recent travelling conference on Friday with an awards ceremony in Bratislava. The aim of this organisation is to write about and promote tourism in different countries, and as they've just wrapped up their Slovak summer academy for young travel & tourism journalists and writers, Gavin Shoebridge spoke to students, as well as the head of the Slovak arm of FIJET, Ľudmila Novacká, and the president of FIJET international, Tijani Haddad to learn more.
