This weekend Slovak tennis players host neighbouring Austria in the second round of the Group 1 of the Davis Cup. The two teams have previously met twice with each winning a tie.
Austrians have come to Bratislava without their star Jürgen Melzer who is recovering after an injury, while the Slovak team has a debutant- the 23 year old Norbert Gombos- in his rank and file. The winner of this tie will earn a place in the World Group play-offs in September.
