Metelka wins gold and breaks world record in Tokyo

Slovak paralympic athlete Jozef Metelka won the men's 4000 metres individual pursuit in the track cycling competition. After winning bronze in the 1000 metres time trial, Metelka secured the gold after reaching a world record of 4:22,772 in the qualification round. The Slovak para cyclist thus gives Slovakia its second gold in the same discipline at the Paralympic games.
