Skier Petra Vlhova has been named Athlete of the year for the third time in a row. Along with her, the category of collective sports was topped by K4 canoe sprinters. Petra Vlhova won the Alpine Skiing World Cup for the very first time in Slovak history, while K4 won the bronze medal at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
