Slovakia’s Mens’ Hockey Ball Team have won the 10th ISBHF World Championships in St. John’s Canada; victorious in the final against Czech Republic 2-1. They can claim to be the only team that has won a medal at every tournament, boasting a haul of 2 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze.
The Women’s’ team, also got all the way to their final and were undefeated, although they succumb to Canada 2-0; to pick up a silver medal. The next edition will be in Zug, Switzerland in 2015.
