The 10th anniversary ČSOB Bratislava marathon took place in the streets of the Slovak capital last weekend. Both of its winners come from Kenya, with Hosea Kiplagat Tuei finishing at a time 2:17:18 and creating a new track record. Hellen Jepkosgei Kimutai won the women's competition with a time 2:35:35, which has also improved the record of the Bratislava event. The best Slovak runner, Gabriel Švajda crossed the finishing line on the seventh place. Around 10,000 participants took part in the Bratislava marathon this year.
