COVID-19 situation in Slovakia is stable, according to health minister

The pandemic situation in Slovakia in connection with COVID-19 is stable, despite a higher number of patients with covid currently in hospitals in the country. Moreover there are currently no plans to tighten anti-pandemic measures. This according to Slovak Health Minister Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee). "The situation is stable despite the fact that the number of patients with covid in hospitals is higher. These are mostly people who are randomly diagnosed before being admitted to the hospital," said the minister. There are no plans currently to tighten the measures, he added, because nothing indicates the need for it, and the standard provision of health care is taking place.
