Slovak castles on pictures of Maria Theresa

A grand exhibition commemorating 300 years since the birth of Austro-Hungarian Empress Maria Theresa was opened in the Austrian castle of Schloss Hof. The opening event was visited by more than 200 personalities from Austria as well as from Slovakia. The grand exposition is divided into four parts, with two of them located in the capital of Vienna. Maria Theresa was crowned as Empress in Bratislava back in 1741. She created the state system that is present today in tax offices, the state administration and also in the school systems, including the modern day Slovak Republic. The four-part exposition will be on display until November 29.
