Slovak actor Milan Kňažko was awarded prestigious prize in the Czech Republic. He received the CENA THÁLIE or Thalia award for his extraordinary performance in one man show SHYLOCK staged at Divadlo Na Jezerce. The jury appreciated his impersonating of actor Jon playing the role of Shakespeare's Shylock in a too much politically correct way. The Thalia awards are organised by the Actors' association in the Czech Republic since 1994.
