The 52nd international film festival in the Czech spa town of Karlove Vary starts Friday, the 30th of June. The Slovak entries into the competition categories include the premiere of the feature film Nina by Juraj Lehotsky, Čiara or The line by Peter Bebjak and the film Křižáček or Little crusader that was shot in as a Slovak co-production. The competition of documentaries will feature two Slovak pictures. Moreover, Slovak director Michal Blaško will screen his Atlantis 2003 feature film as one of the 10 young promising European directors in the section entitled First service.
