For many music lovers, Pohoda is the place where one can see their favourite local bands perform, but more importantly, it is a place where one learns about the new names on the independent music scene from both Slovakia and abroad. The organisers admit that the 2017 Pohoda was not about one big headliner and its sidekicks, but about a strong line-up of perhaps lesser-known, but still respectable musicians. Hear from British indie band Alt-J, then the newcomers to the Slovaks scene Tolstoys as well as the beloved concert band Para.

We also paid special attention on the topic of children attending Pohoda festival. Or, to be more precise, the children, their parents and the artists performing for such an unusual summer festival audience.
