In September 2017, representatives of the Slovak theatre scene met in Bratislava to trigger discussion on how to celebrate the hundred years of professional theatre in the year 2020. Directors of theatres, deans of performing arts faculties or founders of significant festivals met with Culture Minister Marek Madaric in the premises of the Slovak theatre institute.
